Simple guide to deactivate your GhanaPay Wallet through the app.

Step 1: Log into the GhanaPay App

Open the GhanaPay app on your mobile device using your credentials.

Step 2: Select "Other Services"

Navigate to the menu and choose the "Other Services" option.

Step 3: Select 'Wallet Management'

Find and click on the 'Wallet Management' option to proceed.

Step 4: Request to Deactivate Wallet

Select "Request to deactivate wallet" to begin the deactivation process.

Step 5: Transfer Wallet Funds

Move your funds to another GhanaPay wallet, a bank account, or cash out at a bank branch.

Step 6: Input PIN

Enter your secure PIN to confirm the deactivation process.

Step 7: Submit and Await Approval

Submit the deactivation request and wait for your bank to approve it. If the request is not approved in 7 days, the wallet will be automatically deactivated.

Important Notice

If the customer’s bank does not approve the request, the wallet will be automatically deactivated in 7 days.
Once the deactivation is complete, all data associated with the wallet will be deleted.

You can also send an email to ghanapay.customersupport@ghipss.com to request the deletion of your account.
