GhIPSS has engaged CEOs and corporate leaders in the Ashanti Region on Ghana’s digital payments infrastructure and the solutions available to support business payments and collections.

The engagement took place during the CEO’s and Corporate Leaders Hangout – Ashanti Regional Edition, where GhIPSS was represented by Business Development Executive, Diana Plange.

She shared insights on GhIPSS’ mandate and highlighted solutions including GhQR, which enables businesses to receive payments from customers using different funding sources, and GhanaPay, which supports payments and collections.

Importantly, business leaders were encouraged to engage their banks and other participating financial service providers to explore and access these solutions.

The session provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of GhIPSS’ role in Ghana’s payments ecosystem while connecting businesses to the financial institutions through which GhIPSS-enabled services are delivered.

For GhIPSS, such engagements are important to ensuring that businesses not only understand the country’s digital payment infrastructure but are also able to identify opportunities to use it effectively in their everyday operations.
